The correct option is C

Indira Gandhi was an Indian politician who served as prime minister of India between 1966 and 1977 and again from 1980 until her death in 1984. Additionally, she was leader of the Congress Party from 1959 to 1984 and held numerous other ministerial positions in the Lal cabinet. Bahadur Shastri and also from his own government. Daughter and political heiress of the national Indian hero, Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi is the second person who has held the post of prime minister of India (only surpassed by her father) and is, until now, the only woman who has held that position in the history of India.

During his government of almost eleven years, he developed an economic policy aimed at industrializing the country. He maintained good relations with the Soviet Union and supported the independence of Bangladesh in order to weaken Pakistan, its neighboring country and geopolitical rival. Its foreign policy also included a substantial distancing from the United States.

How has the opportunity to immigrate into Western Canada contributed to present day Canadian identity, culture and diversity?
Leokris [45]

Answer:

One group Sifton believed to be the ideal immigrant was the American farmer. He thought that they made for excellent settlers as they would already be equipped to deal with North American conditions. Additionally, although Sifton departed from this tradition slightly, British immigrants were still highly valued. Besides that, Sifton saw Central and Eastern European agriculturists as prime candidates for Canadian immigration. He thought that these people, although not traditionally valued, were the ideal settlers for the Prairies especially as they were already familiar with agriculture, rural lifestyle, and harsh climates.
