Answer:

B. LOL

Explanation:

Idiom is a set of words or an expression that has a meaning that can not be understod from the meaning of the words in it.

For example, when we say "to let a cat out of bag" we're not referring to an actual cat; we want to say that someone revealed a secret.

From all the mentioned idioms, "LOL" is the newest one. It was officially listed in the Oxford English Dictionary in 2011.

algol13

In order to know when a particular character is unaware of something another character is aware of, you've to understand the story.

Your question is incomplete as the story isn't provided. I'll give an overview related to the question. A character means the person that's represented in a literary work.

In order to note instances where one character knows something that another character does not, the following are required:

 • Read the story carefully and make sure you understand it.
 • Understand the theme of the story.
 • Understand the central idea that the author wants the readers to understand.
 • Look at the instances where the characters had contrary opinions on issues.
 • Finally, look at the words or phrases mentioned in such cases.

Are 'Resistant' and 'Yielding' synonyms, antonyms, or neither?
LekaFEV [45]
These are antonyms!!

Resistant means that something can't affect it (the resistant object), or has a hard time affecting it. For example, water resistant shoes aren't easily affected by water; water cant pass through them as easily as non-water resistant shoes.

Yielding means that something is flexible or is influenced by another thing easily. For example, when you "yield" when driving, you are letting the other cars go before you; or, when an object "yields" to pressure, it is bending under pressure (though not quite breaking).

In summary: resistant means nothing can touch it, while yielding means that things easily affect it; thus, antonyms.
