Explanation:

In reading, the SQ4R method is one of the most effective for understanding and remembering the information of a text. This method proposes six different stages that should be followed by the reader to guarantee an effective reading. These stages are surveying, question, reading, reciting, recording and revise and in each of them the reader completes a task. For example in surveying the reader look at the elements of the text to get a general idea and in reviewing the reader remembers the information he read. However, "reply" is not one of the components of this method, because it is not included in any of the stages and in the SQ4R method the reader does not need to answer or reply to the text.
