What does grass likely symbolize in these lines from the poem? A child said What is the grass? fetching it to me with full hands

; How could I answer the child? I do not know what it is any more than he. I guess it must be the flag of my disposition, out of hopeful green stuff woven. (from "A child said, What is the grass" by Walt Whitman) undying curiosity helplessness an optimistic spirit precociousness

Answer:

b) by noticing how the character interacts with other characters

c) by noticing details about what the character says, does, and thinks

d) by noticing how the other characters perceive the character

e) by noticing the context, and use it to make inferences about the character

Instead of describing a character directly, the author shows what that character is like through what that character says, thinks, looks like, and how other characters react to that character.
