How to find missing angles

Mathematics
1 answer:

4 and 2 are vertical and the lines are straight lines so 180 degrees. To find 4 you need to subtract 25 from 180 which is 155 degrees.

3 and 1 are vertical too, so 25 degrees

7 and 5 are similar to 1 and 3, so 7 and 5 are 25 degrees.

8 and 6 are like 4 and 2 too, so 8 and 6 are 155

1 - 25
2-155
3-25
4-155
5-25
6-155
7-25
8-155

Please mark me as the brainlist if you like.

Hope this helped.

You can multiply the numerators and the denominators.

Ex:   1/2 x 1/2  =  1/4

2/4 x 5/6  =  10/24

30/20 x 20/10 = 600/200

Pls solve the last box I don’t understand it. Thnx :)
Pavel [41]

Answer:

(0, -3) and (2, 1)

Step-by-step explanation:

There are 5 points marked on the graph: (±2, 1), (±1, -2) and (0, -3). These are solutions to the equation describing the function:

... y = x² - 3

Apparently, you are being asked to report the coordinates of any two of these points.

_____

<em>Comment on the problem</em>

The wording "solutions to the function" is a bit odd. An equation has solutions—values of the variables that make it be true. A function is a relationship between values, a definition. There is nothing  to solve.

In the above we have assumed the intent is to find (x, y) pairs that match the function definition. Sometimes, we're interested in values of x that make y be zero. (x, y) = (±√3, 0) It isn't obvious what the intent of this question is.

What is the area of this figure? Round to the tenth if necessary.
Julli [10]

Answer:

<h3>b) 850.1 centimeters.</h3>

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the area of this figure, we must first find the areas of the shapes that compose this figure.

This figure is made up of a rectangle and a semicircle.

Remember: To find the area of a semicircle, multiply the radius by itself twice, then multiply the product pi, lastly divide the product by 2.

a=\pi r^2/2

<u>3.14 will be used for pi!</u>

To find the area of a rectangle, multiply the length by the width. The product is the area of the rectangle.

a=lw

Now, let's solve.

The diameter of the semicircle is 32 centimeters.

To find the radius of a semicircle, divide the diameter by 2.

32/2=16

The radius of the semicircle is 16 centimeters.

Now that we have the radius, we can find the area of the semicircle.

\pi 16^2/2=401.92

The area of the semicircle is 401.92 centimeters.

Furthermore, we find the area of the rectangle.

14*32=448.

The area of the circle is 448 centimeters.

Next, we add the areas of both shapes to find the area of this figure.

401.92+448

=849.92

The final step is to round 849.92 to the nearest tenth.

Even though 849.92 to rounded to the nearest tenth is 849.9, there is no answer choice for this. The closest one to this answer is choice 'b.'

I, therefore, believe the area of this figure is 850.1 centimeters.

Given a can with a volume of 42 and a diameter of 4, what is the volume of a cone that fits perfectly inside the can? (Hint: onl
V125BC [204]

Answer:

              \large\boxed{\large\boxed{14 units^3}}

Explanation:

The<em> cone</em> is said to <em>fit perfectly inside the can</em> when the diameter of the cone and its height are equal to those of the can.

The shape of a can can be considered a cylinder.

The<em> volume of a cone that fits into the can</em> is 1/3 the volume of the can.

Thus, the volume of our cone is (1/3) × 42 unit³ = 14 units³
