The main way in which H. G. Wells discusses the topic of human vanity is by showing how little people of the Earth thought about other planets. He says that the world was unprepared for the attack because people were too focused on this planet, and could not believe that intelligent beings could exist outside of Earth. This shows the vanity of humans which contributed to their destruction.

which method of speech or presentation organization describes a problem and then proposes an answer to the problem
Mariulka [41]

Answer:

problem-cause-solution format.

Explanation:

Presentation can be defined as an act of talking or speaking formally to an audience in order to explain an idea, piece of work, project, and product with the aid of multimedia resources or samples.

A problem-cause-solution format is a type of speech which involves describing a problem, identifying the probable cause of the problem and lastly proffering a solution to the problem. The speaker describes a problem and proffers a solution using signal words such as dilemma, solve, problem, etc.

Hence, a method of speech or presentation organization that describes a problem and then proposes an answer to the problem is problem-cause-solution.

The green light is a symbol of something unattainable for Gatsby, yet it is also a symbol to go and meet Daisy. Whether or not he is Great is up for the reader to decide, some would say he's great for fighting his destiny, other would say he's a fraud who can't escape what he is no matter how hard he tries.
