Answer:

The economic effects were more significant than the social effects.

Explanation:

The social effects included the flooding of over 600 houses and the evacuation of 16 farms. Villages, such as Borrowbridge,  were cut off, and power supplies, roads, and railways were also affected. The Bristol to Taunton line was closed at Bridgwater for instance. The environmental impacts were even worse though; an enormous volume of debris dumped by the floodwaters had to be cleaned up and stagnant waters had to be re-oxygenated before being pumped back into rivers. However, I think the worse impact of all was the contamination of all flooded areas by oil, agricultural chemicals, livestock effluent, and human sewage. I think that this is the worst impact because of its potential for causing harm to humans and other animals.

In conclusion, I think that the socio-economic and environmental effects of this flood were both important but that the environmental effect was more important, because of the potential to cause harm.

Based on your research and personal knowledge of world religions, what might have caused the major world religions to spread aro
qaws [65]

Answer:

In the overview section beneath, the specification including its circumstance specified is defined.

Explanation:

  • Some many occurrences managed to spread Christianity throughout North America as well as Europe throughout the continent from wherever it began mostly in the Middle East. Because once Constantine adopted it, Christianity has become the principal ruler of Rome. Over the kingdom, which covered most of East Asia and northern Africa, such move helped popularize Christian values. During subsequent periods, Christianity spread throughout the North as well as South America, with European countries like Spain, France, and Britain moving to something and colonizing the new nation.
  • Leading to the Muslim empire within these regions, the empire expanded across the Middle East and then into Africa (north). The Crusades, conflicts involving Christians from Europe against Muslims from Arabia, forced the cultural identities into communication. As either a result, innovations spread from all sects. Muslim merchants have also carried their faith with them, including throughout North Africa.
  • Judaism appeared found in regions closer to the Middle East initially. Subsequently, Jews become distributed to places across Europe. Many Jews traveled to North America mostly during the 19th-20th decades, particularly mostly during the devastation of world war second, although millions of Jewish people were murdered by the Nazis. The Israeli government, the world has ever known only primarily Jewish nation, was established in the year of 1947.
  • Buddhism as well as Hinduism expanded largely through international trade towards parts of India, China, and perhaps other Asian nations. No systematic invasion by either of the societies that produced Hinduism and Buddhism having occurred.
