Answer:

King's portrait plays a significant role in his reign. Portraits helped in expressing his emotions (serious), to display his importance and power to his people in the kingdom. King's portraits assisted in showing off his wealth by indicating his surrounding and clothing in the painting. Portraits also served in showing his commanding presence and superiority.

Answer:

The king's portrait was used in several ways in which different aspects were kept in mind.

For example the the facial expression in his portrait, the emotion in his eyes, his face cut and in short the essence of the entire portrait was in fact a master piece. A master piece always has fine detailing that makes it close to reality and  makes it a fine portrait that is worth keeping.

I hope the answer is helpful.

Thanks

How did music in the Renaissance differ from medieval music? What were the effects of the printing press on music and composers?
Travka [436]

Answer:

During the Renaissance, the music had less theological themes than Medieval music, and the Renaissance was more polyphonic than the Medieval Era, which was mostly monophonic.

The printing press allowed chorales to be published, increasing their popularity. It also allowed for written music to be easier to read/access and more easily distributed.

Music in the Renaissance became more complex and less religious, which would be mirrored by the Enlightenment more than a century later.

Music was an essential part of civic, religious, and courtly life in the Renaissance. While the music was becoming less religious, the most important music of the early Renaissance was composed for use by the church, with polyphonic masses and motets in Latin for important churches and court chapels.

Composers, similar to remixes today, were able to use previously heard melodies, scales, and ostonados in order to create certain emotions in the listener by association. Reusing riffs made composing easier, as one didn't have to spend countless hours trying out different patterns, and could instead copy a melody completely, or shift it into a different key.

How do you think Female Artist are being treated today? Is it in their best interest? If so, why? If not, what could be done bet
bonufazy [111]

Answer:

The way female artists are treated today is what I believe is of their best interest, but of course progression should never stop. Back then the arts was a field of interest that was specifically for men because women were expected to pursue household duties only. However over time as boundaries were lifted they were allowed to explore artistic pursuites. In today's time there are a large amount of female artists and the arts is often now considered to be a "girly" field of study. That means it's somewhat expected of a female to have an interest in art than in something such as science. This definitely is in the best interest of female artists but not in the best interest of females as a whole. Today it's also much easier for female artists to have exposure because of social media platforms and communities that are designated to art.
