Moreover, the birth, death , marriage also change the mentality and condition of a soldier. Keeping these factors aside, long time enlistments were made and it gave the signal of stretching the war. Because the need of longer enlistment was only needed when the war would be longer.

So the factors describe in the above drove the soldiers to be unhappy with the long time enlistment.
