Choice A. Would be a denotative language illustration. The other options do not explain reason behind anything other than ones choice in the matter.

erma4kov [3.2K]
I am scrapped on top the players head. I am constantly bashed and hit upon on during the game. I hang on thight to the player head to make sure I don't fall off. I see the football fly over me. I feel the rushing air pass me as the player run. I see other players charge before they charge at my player. I dangle loosely as my player started to take me off as the game has ended.

The questions below refer to the selection “Next Term, We'll Mash You.”
stealth61 [152]

<u>Answer:</u>

Margaret Spokes, the headmaster’s wife, can be described in one word as (B) Proper.

<u>Explanation:</u>

The story “Next term, We'll Mash You” by “Penelope Lively” is a story about the boy who is scared about his boarding school throughout. He goes with his parents to visit his boarding school. But he doesn’t quite like the school as there are “inky tables“, “rungless chairs” as described by the author in the story. Even the headmaster thinks the students are nuisances.

When Charles meets the other boys, they threaten him to beat the next time as they have this tradition of beating the new entrants.

Margaret Spokes is a stagnant personality who uses heightened language in the plot, pretentious in nature. In her meeting, she hardly even notices charles. All she wanted is the proper respect from the students.

Kryger [21]
<h3><u>Answer:</u></h3>

It has fantastic features that help to explain the reason for the Maasai's traditions.

<h3><u>Explanation:</u></h3>

The beginnings of Maasai tells about the weather. It explains about volcanic eruptions and their effects. It tells about Enkai, Enkai Nakor, the black god, responsible for showering rains.

And also how he planted a fig tree to bridge the distance between the earth and  the sky to save his cattle. Then the cattle walk all the way down from the tree planted by Enkai to the ground at Neiterkob. Then the Neiterkob and Masaai tribe took good care of the cattle.
