Let the number of tickets they need to sell be t.

The inequality that represents this situation is;

$15t - $700 ≥ $1000

The least number of tickets they can sell is;

$15t ≥ $1000 + $700

$15t ≥ $1700

t ≥ 113.3333 (rounded to four decimal values)

But since we can have 0.3 tickets the class will have to sell at least 114 tickets
