According to the French dictionary Petit Robert, it "perhaps" originally came from Italian, "Bombagia", meaning cotton.

Ref: 1220; o. i., p.-ê. de l'it. bombagia « coton
Note: Agreed, the word beige most recently came from French.  I went too far back to 1220!

The correct answer is French.

The word beige (which represents a color similar to the color of sand) most recently comes from French. The English language contains a lot of words borrowed from other languages, and French is one of the biggest 'inspirations.' Although it is unknown what the very first language of origin of the word beige is, the most recent is definitely French.

Create your own story with a twist ending. Write a synopsis of the story up to the ending, and then fully develop the ending. Us
Ber [7]
Ok, there are some tips on how to make the ending of your story into a twist.

1. Putting in some suspenseful or exciting, adjectives.

2. Maybe change the original plot of the story. ( Example: by changing the villain or who ends up saving the day in the end ).
I hope that helps.

What points did you include in your prediction
ZanzabumX [31]

Sentences are composed of subjects and predicates. The subject is the "doer" in a sentence, or what the sentence is about. A simple predicate is simply the main verb. Each sentence must have a main verb, and the easiest way to find it is to look for a word that shows action.

I believe D is your answer because of how Sophie must confront her employer to get a raise. A raise was not offered to her regardless of her experience, increase in responsibilities. or expertise so I think D would make the most sense in this scenario. (I'm not completely sure but pretty confident)
