If the individual has the genotype XHY? that tells you that the individual is male and he does not carry the disease allele for hemophilia (h) so this male will not have hemophilia (because he has the dominant non disease H allele).

XHY - no hemophilia male

XhY - hemophilia Male

Answer:

The correct answer would be, phenotype: normal hemophilic male.

Explanation:

Hemophilia is a recessive X-linked disease or disorder. It is exhibited in males if he has X-chromosome with recessive allele which is Xh as males carry only one copy of X-link and one Y- chromosome. However, in females, hemophilia only exhibits if both X- chromosomes are recessive as they carry two copies of X-chromosome. Female with one copy of the recessive allele is said to be the carrier of the disorder.

An individual with XHY genotype suggests that this individual is a male because having one copy of each X-chromosome and Y-chromosome. This individual has the dominant allele for hemophilia so the individual will be normal.

Thus,  phenotype: normal hemophilic male.

How many molecules of atp may be produced
Paha777 [63]
In glycolysis, which involves the breaking down of 1 molecule of 6 carbon glucose to 2 molecules of 3 carbon called pyruvic acid by enzymes in the cytoplasm, 2 ATPs are formed
The kreb’s cycle involves a series of reactions which begins with the pyruvic acid formed during glycolysis which takes place in the mitochondria in the presence of oxygen. At various stages, carbon dioxide and hydrogen are produced and the hydrogen released combines with oxygen to form water.During the entire process involved in the kreb’s cycle, large amounts of energy is released to the cell for use in form of ATP with a total net of 36 ATPs
The entire breakdown of glucose molecules from glycolysis to kreb’s cycle provides a total net of 38 ATPs.
