The school library had a used book sale. paperbacks were $2 each and hardcover books were $3 each. there were 54 paperbacks and

163 hardcover books sold.
Please help me, I have no idea how to do this we need to use BEDMAS to solve this. Can anyone help?

Total money made is $597, $489 from hardbacks and $108 from paperbacks.

$3 x 163= $489

$2 x 54= $108

total $= 3(163)+2(54)
