To find positive coterminal angle we have to add 360 and to find negative coterminal angle, we have to subtract 360 degree.

a. 150 degree

Positive coterminal angle

150+360= 510 degree

Negative coterminal angle

150-360=-210 degree

b.-420 degree

Positive coterminal angle

-420+2*360=300 degree

negative coterminal angle

-420-360 = -780 degree

A college student borrow $3,000 for 9 months to pay for a semester of school. If the interest is $185.63, find the monthly payme
photoshop1234 [79]

Total interest on the loan = 185.63

Total principal of the loan = 3,000

Total interest + principal = 3,000 + 185.63

Total future value of the loan = 3,185.63

The tenor of the loan = 9  months

Monthly payment = Total future value of loan/ number of months

Monthly payment = 3,185.63/9 = 353.9588

Monthly payment = $353.96 (Rounded to nearest cent)

Find the distance between the points (1, 4) and (-5, -4) on the coordinate plane.
IgorC [24]

The formula of a distance between two points:

A(x_A;\ y_A);\ B(x_B;\ y_B)\\\\AB=\sqrt{(x_B-x_A)^2+(y_B-y_A)^2}

(1,\ 4);\ (-5,\ -4)\\\\d=\sqrt{(-5-1)^2+(-4-4)^2}=\sqrt{(-6)^2+(-8)^2}=\sqrt{36+64}=\sqrt{100}=10

PLEASE HELP! I been stuck on this assignment for over 2 weeks. My teacher gave me a simple explanation when I asked for help, bu
loris [4]

Answer:

Question 1: x = 0,6,4

Step-by-step explanation:

#1. If we let x be the side of the cut-out square, the formula for the volume of the box is

\text{Volume} = (12 - 2x)(8 - 2x)(x).

Expanding gives us

\text{Volume} = 4x^3 - 40x^2 + 96x.

To find the zeros, we need to set the equation to 0, and the values of x that would result to zero would be:

x = 0, 6, 4

How to solve for y.
NARA [144]
25, 65, and y make a right triangle. use a^2 + b^2 =c^2.
so...
y^2 + 25^2 = 65^2
y^2 + 625 = 4225
y^2 = 3600 take the square root of both sides
y=60
