In science a hypothesis is a proposition relating various factors based
on limited evidence. In order to investigate and obtain further evidence
an experiment is carried out, which will either prove or disprove the
hypothesis and lead to the experiment either being changed or continued
on a larger scale to collect more evidence to support said hypothesis.
