Answer:

Tax Collection, Military Might, Land acquisition

Explanation:

The European rulers with the use of popular support, would get the nobles to fight themselves. they had power by controlling taxes being paid by merchants that allowed them to have a bigger army. they also acquired larger lands for themselves and made some bureaucracies to keep the nobles in check. with time as communication got a lot better it became possible for people to see one person or man as their leader.

Answer:

Tax collection , Military and land acquisition

Explanation:

The European rulers in their bid to centralize power and control the nobles in areas/regions where they wanted to govern they enforced Tax collection on merchants who were trading withe region and that way hey were able to raise funds for creating and maintain a very strong army that they would use to force the Nobles into submitting to a central authority. also the continuous acquisition of lands by the European meant they started controlling a very vast area and would then be able to control the nobles and ultimately centralize power.they created a royal justice system to undermine the church courts and also the king declared that the church was under the king.

Anestetic [448]

Answer:

In a way, one could say he was justified.

Explanation:

After the attacked on pearl harbour by Japanese, created fear and outrage against the Japanese Americans, and it was a common belief that the Japanese Americans were spies and had helped them. President Roosevelt issued Executive order 9066 in 1942 to evacuate all persons who could be a threat to national security from the west coast. Japanese were sent to live in camps with barbed wires and were not allowed to go outside the premises. Most of these camps built in the areas where the Japanese were populated. It was justified because Roosevelt issued an order on the grounds of military necessity, and to reduce a threat to national security.

Describe how John Paul Jones’ military leadership contributed to the American Revolution. Discuss what effect he may have had on
Sergio [31]

Shortly after the Revolution began, he was in Philadelphia and through the friendship of Joseph Hewes, a delegate to the Continental Congress, was commissioned as first lieutenant on the Alfred in the Continental navy. Jones proved himself a capable officer in action on the Alfred and on the sloop Providence which he commanded in 1776. The next year Congress sent him to France as captain of the Ranger with orders to attack enemy commerce in British waters. His greatest success on the Ranger came in April 1778 when he sailed from Brest for the Irish Sea and then to Whitehaven. This superb foray saw him fail in his attempt to abduct the Earl of Selkirk, whom he intended to exchange for Americans held by the British, but he captured the sloop of war Drake in a fierce struggle. By May 8, the Ranger was back at Brest with seven prizes and many prisoners, having created a furor in the British press.

. The enemy was the Serapis, one of the British escorts of a large convoy. In the battle, mostly fought in moonlight, the Bonhomme Richard grappled with the Serapis. With the two vessels lashed together, the British captain asked Jones if he wished to surrender and received the famous reply, “I have not yet begun to fight.” Indeed Jones had not, and when the night’s work was done, he accepted the surrender of his enemy.
