Not sure if my picture answer make sense so, when you have a^2 and b^2 to find c^2 u add then and then square root it to get c. e.g 81^2 + 108^2 = 18225 then u square root it and get 135. when u are given the hypotenuse (which is always c^2) u take that away from the a^2/b^2 and square root. e.g 8^2-4^2 which is 48 which can’t be square rooted so just leave as root48

That means it's the equation of a line passing through the origin.
case a) and case d) are discarded because the line does not pass through the origin
<u>case b) we have</u>
for x=2 y=4
y/x=k-------> 4/2=2------> k=2
y=2x-------> in this case the value of y is two times the value of x
<u>case c) we have</u>
for x=4 y=2
y/x=k-------> 2/4=1/2------> k=(1/2)
y=(1/2)x-------> in this case the value of y is one-half of the value of x
