Answer:

Break-even point in units= 12,769 units

Explanation:

Giving the following information:

Selling price per unit= $170

Variable expenses per unit= $81.10

Fixed expense per month= $997,920

Monthly target profit of $137,240

To determine the number of units to be sold, we need to use the break-even point in units formula. We need to add the desired profit.

Break-even point in units= (fixed costs + desired profit) / contribution margin per unit

Break-even point in units= (997,920 + 137,240) / (170 - 81.1)

Break-even point in units= 12,769 units

On August 15, we purchased equipment for $5,000. We paid $1,000 down with the remainder to be paid later. What account(s) would
vodka [1.7K]

Answer:

a. Cash and accounts payable

Explanation:

The journal entry to record this given transaction is shown below:

Equipment A/c Dr $5,000

       To Cash A/c $1,000

       To Account payable A/c $4,000

(Being the equipment is purchased for cash and on account)

Since the equipment is purchased for $5,000 that increase the asset account and the cash is paid for $1,000 so it would be credited plus the remaining amount is given on credit basis so we credited the account payable account

MakcuM [25]
They will most likely not raise their prices.

If you look at the kinked demand curve, deviating from the market price will lead to losses for the firm. Increasing the price will lead to a loss in sales as price rigidity is a characteristic of an oligopolistic market, whereas if the firm lowers prices, this will invoke a price war and everyone will end up fighting for lower prices and customers.

I want to start a new business. Ideas?
Aleks04 [339]
1.) Watch the news and find out a problem that everyone needs the solution to like a geologist national research business. Or something people don't have a specific catagory for or is in the random stuff cabinet

2.) Think about it and see what you can do to make it spectacular.

3.) Think of a name for it.

4.) Get it pattened (I don't know how to spell it sorry)

5.) Make a card for it and tell people about it. For the child abuse example. (Sprinkle a little dramatic facts  then tell them what you do to help stop that just to get people intrested and wanting to help.)

6.) Then you can take it from there to get more and more people into your business.

To number 5, I forgot what that trick is but it is when you scare someone by something you told them then dis alarming them by telling the good side. You can basically get anyone to do or say yes to anything you want.

And you can use my geologist catagory idea because these days they really need them. Also my mom said that if your in college and you study for the geologist requirments thing ( I don't know what they call them I think coarses)
They pay you even when your not finished college just to work for them and she also stated why else would they randomly add geology in schools now and they make pretty good money!

Sorry for it being so long but I get excited over the smallest thing and I hope I helped you lots!! And Gooood Luck!!!
