First how much does the nickels worth?

It worths 5 cents Which is .5 in decimal and now you got to divide

So divide 7.45 over .5 how much is that ?

7.45/.5=14.9

There are approximately 15 nickels.

It's 149nickels because how much nickels equal $1.00, it's 20 nickels then multiply it by 7 which equal 140 nickels and 140 nickels equals $7.00 but we are not done we still need that 45 cents,so how much nickels equals 45 cents it's 9 nickels so 140(nickels)+9(nickels)=149 nickels so the answer is 149 nickels

Can someone help me solve #1 and #2 by working backward? Here is a picture:
Brilliant_brown [7]
1. 4(n+3)=16, n+3=4, n=1
2. m/4+3=24, m/4=21, m=84
1. three added to a number n implies n+3, 4 times that sum is 4 (n+3), to solve divide both sides by 4 then subtract three from both sides.
2. a number divided by 4 means n/4 adding it to three n/4+3, to solve subtract 3 from both sides then multiply both sides by 4

Measurement of box 1\frac{1}{2}\times 1\frac{1}{2}\times 2

suppose Length L=1\frac{1}{2}=\frac{3}{2}\ ft

Breadth B=1\frac{1}{2}=\frac{3}{2}\ ft

height H=2\ ft

Volume of Cuboid=L\times B\times H

Use a half-angle identity to find the exact value of sinPi/8
stellarik [79]

Answer:

  sin(π/8) = (1/2)√(2-√2)

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the half-angle formula ...

  \sin{\dfrac{\theta}{2}}=\sqrt{\dfrac{1-\cos{\theta}}{2}}

We can let θ = π/4 and simplify the result as follows:

  \sin{\dfrac{\pi}{8}}=\sqrt{\dfrac{1-\cos{(\pi/4)}}{2}}=\sqrt{\dfrac{1-\dfrac{\sqrt{2}}{2}}{2}}=\sqrt{\dfrac{2-\sqrt{2}}{4}}\\\\=\boxed{\dfrac{1}{2}\sqrt{2-\sqrt{2}}}}
