Theodore Roosevelt was the 26th president of the United States. He addresses this speech, "The Man with the Muck-Rake" in 1906. In his speech he condemns dishonesty and he calls for honesty and morality. What he could have also said to strengthen his position was that the attempt to make money from attacks on character is immoral. Roosevelt wanted people to try to do what was right for the sake of their country.
