Answer: The Texas Revolution had many effects. To the Texans it meant a great deal of freedom, and independence. But to the Mexicans it meant a great loss of land, loss of money, a defeat of a powerful leader, the death of many people, and the loss of people in the army.
The result was the movement of settlers onto the Great Plains. The aim of this was to assimilate Native American Indians into American culture.
