Why were americans so upset over the stamp act

History
1 answer:

The Americans were upset over the Stamp Act because Great Britain imposed an internal tax on all paper documents in her colonies. If the Americans wanted anything printed, it had to be printed in the United Kingdom and there was a tax or levy imposed on the printed documents. The reason for the Stamp Act was that Great Britain was in debt after the Seven Years War, and she was looking to recoup her losses after the war. Needless to say, the Americans were very unhappy that they were being punished for the war.

Which of the following people is considered part of labor force?
ser-zykov [4K]
The correct answer is c. a person who has lost a job but is looking for one

The labor force is the sum of all employed and unemployed people who are of legal age and have or don't have full time jobs. That rules out B, while D is not a part of the force because a mother is not unemployed by force, but rather because she chooses not to join it. A job as an Army Sergeant is not a part of the labor force because it is not technically labor.
