Latitude angles can range up to +90 degrees (or 90 degrees north), and down to -90 degrees (or 90 degrees south). Latitudes of +90 and -90 degrees correspond to the north and south geographic poles on the earth, respectively. Longitude is defined in terms of meridians, which are half-circles running from pole to pole.Jun 8, 2015

what was one major outcome of the non aggression pact between the soviet union and germany before world war 2
Oksanka [162]

On August 23, 1939 shortly before World War II in Europe (1939-1945) The Soviet Union and Germany signed the Nonaggression Pact, in which both countries agreed to take no military action against each other for 10 years.

One major outcome of the Nonaggression Pact between the two countries is that it delayed Germany’s invasion to the Union and gave the Soviet Union time to build up their military company. Later, Stalin would use a strengthen militia to fight back Germany which contributed to Hitler’s defeat.

The nonaggression pact with the Soviet Union also empowered Germany to invade Poland without the opposition of a major power, having to only tackle France and Britain.

How does geography impact history? How do the physical and human features of an area impact the events that happen there?
scoray [572]
When you think about it, the geography of a location has a very important effect on history. The way how geography can affect history for example is through battles. If there was an army which had good archers and they were on a hill, they would obviously want to position their troops there in order to gain a good vantage point over their enemies and rain arrows down on them. This is one example how a hill could decide where a battle was fought.
