We learn that the men ran to fetch their necessary weapons in order to hunt. However, we also learn that they did this in groups, as they divided themselves into "three companies."
  • The inference that can be made about their beliefs is the fact that they believe gods to live in Heaven, and to be responsible for what happens in the human world. We learn that the men believe that the gods are responsible for the quality of their hunting, which implies that they believe the gods take an interest in what happens in the world.
