The correct answer is C. Anti-American sentiment in those regions increased.

After WWII, in order to maintain its global hegemony against the Soviet Union, the US took an aggressive foreign policy in many regions, with Latin America and the Middle East among them. For example, in the Middle East, the US supported the coup d'etat against the president Mossadegh in Iran in 1953 in favor of the Shah Reza Pahlevi, who was aligned with American interests. Also, the long-standing policy of backing Israel upsets many Arab nations who support the Palestinian cause. In the same way, in Latin America, during the Cold War, the US backed many coup d'etats and military dictatorships that were trying to stop the spread of Communism in the region but also committed many atrocities. These policies towards these regions increased anti-American sentiments in the population.

What was the Schliefen Plan?
Darya [45]

Answer:

The Schliefen Plan was a plan created by Schliefen which called for a blitzkrieg like attack to take over Paris, which would effectively defeat the Western Front, and then focus the Central Power's attention against Russia. However, the plan failed, and the war of the west became what is commonly known as the trench warfare today.
