Answer:

714 in^2

Step-by-step explanation:

As the question says "the surface area" you must find the area that the solid figure occupies. In this order, you have to subtract the area between the 2 cubes. The surface are of the to cubes are:

1. The small is (4 x 4) x 6 = 96 in^2

2. The large is (15 x 10) x 2 + (7 x 10) x 2 + (15 x 7) x 2 = 650 in ^2

Then, you subtract the area that is no part of the surface area, in this case is, (4 x 4) x 2, becaise is 2 times (one of the small cube an one of the large).

So the surface area will be (650 + 96 -32) = 714 in^2

What is the scale factor of triangle ABC to triangle DEF?
8_murik_8 [283]

Answer:

Second option, scale factor is 2.5

Step-by-step explanation:

We see that ∠B ≅ ∠E and ∠C ≅ ∠F, therefore, ΔABC ~ ΔDEF by the AA Similarity for Triangles Theorem which states that if two pairs of corresponding angles are congruent in two triangles, then those two triangles are similar. To find the scale factor, all we have to do is DF / AC = 5/2 or 2.5.

There are more than one answer help me and I give brainilest
andreev551 [17]

Answer:

Equivalent to a), b), and d). It is NOT equivalent to c).

Step-by-step explanation:

6m + 12 is also equivalent to a) 3(2m+4) because when you distribute, it's 6m + 12. It is also equivalent to b) 3m + 8 + 4 + 3m because if you add them together, you get 6m + 12. It is not equivalent to c) but is do d) 4m + 2(m + 6) cause you use the distributive property then add. I hope this helped and please mark brainliest!

Show the following numbers on number line 3/2, 5/2, -3/2
pav-90 [236]

When you create the number line, put 0 in the middle. Basically you put all the numbers you got from least to greatest on the number.

Since -3/2 is less than 0, it will go to the left of 0.

Since 3/2 and 5/2 are greater than 0, it will go to the right of 0.

Remember to use sub points of 1.

Best of Luck!

If f(x) is given with points (0,5) and (4,3), it can be easily plotted in a coordinate system (see .jpeg image in attachment). If g(x) is a function defined by text:

Kyle started the summer having read 3 books but plans to read 6 books per month over the summer. Then, g(x) is given with:

g(x) = 6*x+3 (3 books read already, and 6 books will be read each month).h(x) is already given with:

h(x)=3*x+4

These all three functions are plotted in coordinate system and it can be seen that the lowest y-intercept has function g(x), and it is the value of 3 on y-axis. Others have 4 (h(x)) and 5 (f(x)).
