Sort the characteristics of news as objective or subjective

English
1 answer:
Anuta_ua [19.1K]3 years ago
8 0

Answer:

Objective news- objective facts, intention to inform, plain direct style, impersonal third-person pronouns

Subjective news- opinions and commentary, emotional language, intention to persuade, first-second person pronouns

Explanation:

An “objective” point of view is one independent of the observer, and which is therefore measurable or verifiable by standards that do not vary from observer to observer. Conversely, a “subjective” point of view is one that depends on something innate and unique to the observer, not verifiable by any outside standard.

based on their interactions in chapter 2,compare and contrast the personalities of huck and tom. your response should be atleast
Rzqust [24]

Based on their interactions in Chapter 2, one could easily see that Huck resents the Widow Douglas and Miss Watson. He hates it that they are both always trying to change his ways and make him a proper gentlemen. They told him that he would go to hell if he kept being bad, but that doesn't bother him much, rather it excited him more than Heaven. The Widow Douglas and Miss Watson want him to go to Heaven but he doesn't want or care to change. Huck is in a similar postition. He is uncomfotable with the restrictions that are on him like not letting him smoke, always having to wear clean clothes, and only eating when the dinner bell rings. This was a differnt system and way than when he was living with his father.
