Based on their interactions in Chapter 2, one could easily see that Huck resents the Widow Douglas and Miss Watson. He hates it that they are both always trying to change his ways and make him a proper gentlemen. They told him that he would go to hell if he kept being bad, but that doesn't bother him much, rather it excited him more than Heaven. The Widow Douglas and Miss Watson want him to go to Heaven but he doesn't want or care to change. Huck is in a similar postition. He is uncomfotable with the restrictions that are on him like not letting him smoke, always having to wear clean clothes, and only eating when the dinner bell rings. This was a differnt system and way than when he was living with his father.
