A long time ago, there was a vast expanse of water instead of earth. The animals and trees lived on a level above the water. One

day, Wise Badger dived deep into the water to search for mud. Sadly, he could not swim for long and had to come back. The animals decided to send Brave Muskrat to get the mud. He dived into water and swam for a long time. He came up with a small amount of mud. The mud began to expand in every direction, creating an island. The animals waited for the island to dry. They sent Big Crow to keep watch on the island. In seven days, Big Crow returned and informed them that the island was dry and ready. The animals and trees moved onto the island and lived happily ever after. What is this type of creation story called?

can u give me reasons why Mickey and Edward present social inequality? (this is from blood brothers)
ZanzabumX [31]
Russell wrote Blood Brothers in 1981, and it was first performed as a musical in 1983. This was during the period that Conservative Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher was in power. There was very high unemployment during this time, particularly in industrial working-class areas in northern England, such as Liverpool - where Russell is from and where the play is set. Mickey and his family represent the working classes, who were badly affected by the economic downturn, whereas Edward and the Lyons family embody the middle classes, who thrived in the 1980s.

How do i work to improve a piece (e.g. spoken, written, visual, etc.) in order to convey my ideas?
Sav [38]

If I may offer some suggestions that may be helpful. Whenever I am writing or researching or speaking the go-to for me is always an outline.

Use Roman Numerals- I, II, III, IV. V, VI, etc. as well as subpoint to reinforce your subpoints. For example, If I am giving a speech about why I believe that larger vehicles are preferable due to the safety to the passengers, I may structure it in this way;

I. (Main Point) Why Larger Vehicles are Best for Passenger Safety

a.)Crash Test Safety Results from the NHTSA

b.) Local statistics from an insurance agent

c.) Short testimony from a person I know who was involved in a collision that was in a larger vehicle.

II. Larger Vehicles are Heavier and have the following Safety Features that smaller vehicles do not offer

a.) Lane departure warning

b.) Blind-Spot detection system

c.) Assisted braking software

This format always helps me to organize my ideas and to add detail and trim the unnecessary stuff later on. Generally when writing, more is better and then just edit it.

Finally, when giving a speech

1) Intro-TellThem What You Are Going to Tell Them

2) Tell Them

3) Tell Them What You Told Them

These are the best advice that I can offer and I got my BA w/ and English major. Hope it helps!
