Paul, after Christ's death, became one of the main reasons that the Roman empire converted to Christianity. He went on many long trips deep into the empire, preaching and spreading the religion. He and the other disciples affected so many people, that the Roman emperor Constantine made it legal to practice other religion in the empire. Eventually, because Paul started a chain reaction, and the emperor after Constantine, Theodosius, made the empire's main religion Christianity.
West Berlin was an island of the West, or the Western Curture, or Western sphrere of influence, surrounded by the Eastern Bloc/Western sphere of influence on all sides. It lied in the middle of East Germany, a socialist country, and did not have any direct land connection to other capitalist countries.
The spread of Islam into the Maghreb is an example of Arab invasion of North Africa. The Arabs send Muslim army to Maghreb (modern morocco) to battle against Byzantines and allies, and finally conquer most of the North Africa were many Berbers (locals of Maghreb) join the Muslim army. After Arabs gain more power in the region, the Berbers are now ready to adopt and convert to Islam as well as the Arabic culture.
