Answer:

Alice's choices and descicions displayed throughout the book are only based on emotion and instinct whereas an adult may have more reasoning to their actions.For example,in the last few chapters alice has a large emotional outburst in front of the court unlike the cheschire cat who throughout the book is calm and composed even in the most extreme of settings.
