<u>9 is the right answer.</u> First you had to used pemdas stands for order of operations. P-parenthesis, E-exponents, M-multiply, D-divide, and S-subtracting. You had to calculate with parenthesis first. And it gave us, (4-3)=1, or =18\div \:6*1+6. Then, you multiply and divide from left to right. And it gave us, 18\div \:6*1=3*1=3, or 3+6. Finally, you had to add and subtracting from left to right. And it gave us, 3+6=9, and it gave us the answer is<u><em> 9 is the right answer.</em></u> Hope this helps! And thank you for posting your question at here on brainly, and have a great day. -Charlie

A clothing business finds there is a linear relationship between the number of shirts, Q ,it can sell and the price, P , it can
Vlad [161]

Answer:

P = -0.004Q + 149

Step-by-step explanation:

The general form of the linear equation is:

P=aQ+b

The slope of the equation (a) can be found by using the two given points (4,000; $133) and (27,000; $41)

a = \frac{\$41-\$133}{27,000-4,000}\\a=-0.004

Applying the point (4,000; $133) to the equation below yields in the linear equation for Price as a function of the number of shirts:

P-P_0=a(Q-Q_0)\\P-133=-0.004(Q-4,000)\\P = -0.004Q+149

The linear equation is:

P = -0.004Q + 149

A photocopier makes copies that are 40% larger than the original.
iragen [17]

The length of the copy is 16.8 cm ,The length of the original is 25 cm.

<h3>What is Percentage ?</h3>

Percentage is a number or ratio that represents a fraction of 100

It is given that

A photocopier makes copies that are 40% larger than the original.

An original is 12cm long. Find the length of the copy.

The copy will be

140 % of 12 cm

140 * 12/100

16.8 cm

Therefore , the length of the copy is 16.8 cm.

A copy is 35cm long. Find the length of the original.

The original will be x

140 * x / 100 = 35

x = 35 * 100 / 140 = 25cm

The length of the original is 25 cm.

Determine whether the series is convergent or divergent by expressing sn as a telescoping sum (as in Example 8). [infinity] 6 n2
vekshin1

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

given

\sum\limits^\infty_{n=3}\frac{6}{n^2-1}=\sum\limits^\infty_{n=3}\frac{6}{(n-1)(n+1)}\\\\=\sum\limits^\infty_{n=3}\frac{6}{2}(\frac{1}{n-1}-\frac{1}{n+1})\\\\=\frac{6}{2}\sum\limits^\infty_{n=3}(\frac{1}{n-1}-\frac{1}{n+1})\\\\=3[(\frac{1}{2}-\frac{1}{4})+(\frac{1}{3}-\frac{1}{5})+(\frac{1}{4}-\frac{1}{6})+(\frac{1}{5}-\frac{1}{7})+...]\\\\=3[\frac{1}{2}+\frac{1}{3}]=3[\frac{3+2}{6}]=3[\frac{5}{6}]\\\\=\frac{15}{6}=\frac{5}{3}
