Answer:

Explanation:

George Washington was a Great General,a Great Leader and a great first president. He proved loyal in all of his ways and always he did what was needed.Although he had fake teeth.

George Washington was a great General. When he went into war,he always went in and never stopped until his side if the team won.Although he might have had a few losses of war.George Washington would clearly be a very good general because of his leadership position. But not just because of his position, but because of how he acted.

George Washington became a great leader in many ways.George Washington was the kind that didn't care too much about what he was or what he looked like.He proved a good leader for his people because he didn't care about himself .He cared for other people, their freedom and such as.

George Washington was a great first president too!He was a role model for other presidents too!George was the one who thought of the name "president".So it occurs that he might have had a lot of great ideas or he might have not .Either way it doesn't really matter,George Washington was a great first role model.

And about those dental teeth................................................................

George Washington lost his teeth when he was young due to either bad diet or a disease. It wasn't very easy to keep your teeth at such a old time.About the time when he almost died,he had only one tooth left in his mouth!!So pretty obviously he wore dentures.Hard Dentures.

General President Leader Washington was a good leader no matter his name.

Do not go gentle into that good night is metered how?
pychu [463]

Dylan Thomas’ “Do not go gentle into that good night” follows an iambic pentameter. For that reason, each line of the poem (except the second one of the fifth stanza Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,) has ten syllables (five feet). Each foot follows the same pattern: one unstressed syllable followed by a stressed syllable and so on as in the example

Wild men | who caught | and sang | the sun | in flight

The stressed syllable is in bold.

Which quotation develops the concept that the white man was a negative influence on the Indians? surrdener
Fynjy0 [20]

The quotation that develops the concept that the white man was a negative influence on the Indians is; Option A: "'The white men speak bad of the Indian, and look at him spitefully. But the Indian does not tell lies; Indians do not steal.'"

What is the quotation with the correct concept?

From the story on impact of the white man as a negative influence on Indians, we can say that a quotation that develops the concept that the Indians are unable to trust the white man is that; "'The white men do not scalp the head; but they do worse—they poison the heart, it is not pure with them.'"

Now, from that quotation above and when we apply it to the question, we can conclude that the quotation that develops the concept that the white man was a negative influence on the Indians is; Option A: "'The white men speak bad of the Indian, and look at him spitefully. But the Indian does not tell lies; Indians do not steal.'"

The missing options are;

A: "The white men speak bad of the Indian, and look at him spitefully. But the Indian does not tell lies; Indians do not steal.'"

B: "His heart is dead, and no longer beats quick in his bosom. He is now a prisoner to the white men; they will do with him as they wish.'"

C: "We lived in danger. We were becoming like them, hypocrites and liars, adulterers, lazy drones, all talkers, and no workers.'"

D: "He is now a prisoner to the white men; they will do with him as they wish. But he can stand torture, and is not afraid of death.'"

PLEASE HELP

write a short poem about volleyball
Greeley [361]

Answer:

set it up to spike it down

dig it, then repeat

blockers up and coverage close

talk loud and move your feet

give it everything you have

don't just play the game

strive to beat the other teams

make them fear your name

points rack up and tension builds

we all know what's at stake

skill and heart and desire to win

aren't things that you can fake

some are short and some are tall

we come in different sizes

that doesn't change the way that we

wear our floor burns like prizes

any game that we must play

with worthy competition

we face the team across the net

with courage and ambition

if every person does their best

and gives it what they can

work has a knack for paying off

and winning is the plan

so dig it up and load it up

send it back once more

aiming for a certain spot,

a place to hit the floor

shifting, diving, calling out,

don't be afraid to fall

it's this sport that you should try

we call it volleyball
