<span>Non-violent resistance or non-violent protests are practices where goals were to be achieved without any violence through symbolic protests, satyagraha etc.

The concept was first introduced my Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi in India, who followed Satyagraha.

These teachings and prophecies became widespread globally and were followed by Civil rights leader Rev. Martin Luther King during the American Civil Rights Movement during the fight for racial equality.

What were Americans essential attitudes towards education
PilotLPTM [1.2K]
Hmm. Well, if your thinking of the same time in history that I am...than I believe that the Americans put education at a high place in their lives. For the girls, well, they were going to get married off anyway. So why bother with their education, they were just taught how to keep house. The boys were sent to school if their parents believed that it was okie dory for them. But, if the child's parent was a farmer or something like that. Than they were more likely to stay and home. And learn the trade of their Father.

Nowadays, education is held in the highest respect. If you want a good, well paying job in your life. Than a good, solid education is the way to go. The only way to go. Collage is expected from graduates now it seems. But maybe that's just me. But, people all have their own views on education. Some find it important, and others could care less.

What contributed to the United States' negative view of Germany?
lisov135 [29]

Answer:

Americans and Germans have vastly different opinions of their bilateral relationship, but they tend to agree on issues such as cooperation with other European allies and support for NATO, according to the results of parallel surveys conducted in the United States by Pew Research Center and in Germany by Körber-Stiftung in the fall of 2018.

In the U.S., seven-in-ten say that relations with Germany are good, a sentiment that has not changed much in the past year. Germans, on the other hand, are much more negative: 73% say that relations with the U.S. are bad, a 17-percentage-point increase since 2017.

Nearly three-quarters of Germans are also convinced that a foreign policy path independent from the U.S. is preferable to the two countries remaining as close as they have been in the past. But about two-thirds in the U.S. want to stay close to Germany and America’s European allies. Similarly, while 41% of Germans say they want more cooperation with the U.S., fully seven-in-ten Americans want more cooperation with Germany. And Germans are about twice as likely as Americans to want more cooperation with Russia. All this is happening against a backdrop of previously released research showing a sharply negative turn in America’s image among Germans.
