Right answer: Spain

The bullfight also known as "Fiesta Brava" is an event that involves fighting bulls (males specially bred for the show), on foot or riding a horse, in a closed area for this purpose, called the bullring (Plaza de Toros in Spanish) .

In this horrible spectacle several people participate, among them the bullfighters, who follow a strict traditional protocol related to this practice.

Its rules were adopted in Spain in the late eighteenth century, under Roman influence, where the bullfight ends with the death of the bull. In Mexico as well as in other Latin American countries, this show came from Spain during the conquest and was integrated into the traditions.

Therefore:

The tradition of the bullfight was brought to Mexico from Spain
