He is talking about the way people lived in that time. That thins changed.

The right lose or recover from the 'fiscal conservatism that requested to stimulate the economy, the rational and the friend of science' (the conservatism of an Eisenhower, for example) to 'fanatical destroyer of all progress to recover from slavery and medieval fanaticism.

<em>"For too many of us, the political equality we have achieved has become meaningless in the face of economic inequality. A small group has concentrated almost complete control over other people's property, other people's money, other people's work. - other people's lives. Using complete sentences, explain how overpopulation contributes to many of today’s global challenges.
german

Overpopulation puts a tremendous strain on resources. If too many people live in a place with too few resources (food, water, etc.), there are many negative effects. The biggest concern is access to water. A lack of fresh water can lead to unsanitary living conditions, which can cause disease, infection and increased child and infant mortality. Additionally, overpopulation can lead to malnutrition and increased transmission of diseases. Even more disconcerting is the fact that overpopulation is a growing issue; by 2050, the projected population of the world is 9 billion, with the developed world comprising the majority of the population.
