Answer:

Active transport occur in the uphill direction where passive transport occur in the downhill direction this is the principle comparison between passive transport and active transport.

Explanation:

Passive transport involves simple transport mechanism such as diffusion, osmosis and facilitated diffusion that help in the transport of molecule across the membrane from high concentration region to the region of low concentration untill equilibrium is reached. No additional energy is required to carry out passive transport. oxygen, carbon dioxide, water, glucose molecule are transported by passive transport mechanism.

Active Transport involves various ion channels which helps in the movement of molecules from low concentration region to the high concentration region .Additional energy in form of ATP is required to stimulate the active transport. Various ions such as Na+,K+, Ca2+, amino acids are transported by active transport.

yaroslaw [1]

Answer:

C) both an aggregate fruit and an accessory fruit

Explanation:

When several flower ovaries or receptacle of a flower with many separate carpels joins together they form aggregate fruit. Each ovary has a single ovule that converts into a seed after fertilization.

Aggregate fruit can be formed without the involvement of accessory parts called true aggregate fruit or with the involvement of additional floral parts called accessory aggregate fruit. Strawberry is also an accessory aggregate fruit because the different ovaries in the strawberry develops into achenes over the surface of flower receptacles.

Why is homeostasis important for survival
ExtremeBDS [4]
Homeostasis is maintaining an equilibrium or balance. Human bodies only function under very specific conditions, so it is important to maintain them through homeostasis. Otherwise, the proper conditions to function will be missing and we won't be able to function at all.
