Explain the conflict between nobility and monarchy in Europe between 1450 and 1750. Who “won”?
ankoles [38]

Answer:

Between 1450 and 1750 there was a conflict between the monarchies and the European nobles, within the framework of the end of the Middle Ages and the development of feudalism.

In this framework, European nobles began to claim greater rights and powers over those of the king, who until then exercised authoritarian and totalitarian power, based on religious precepts and the monopoly of force.

As soon as the nobility began to acquire power, thanks to the feudal system that dismembered the power of the monarchies in the feudal lords, it began to require the king to recognize their powers and prerogatives, under threat of carrying out revolutions (which in many cases did occur, such as the English Civil War). Finally, the nobility was able to consolidate their powers by limiting the absolute powers of the monarchy.
