Answer:

Both parents are heterozygous

Explanation:

Assuming the allele for colour in the sheep is represented by S.

A white sheep will have a genotype of SS or Ss assuming S is dominant over s and a black sheep will have a genotype of ss.

Over the couse of several years, a cross betweem two white sheep (SS or Ss?) produced three white and one black offspring. For them to have produced one black offspring (ss), it thus means that the two white sheep are heterozygous:

Ss x Ss = SS (white), Ss (white), Ss (white) and ss (black).

The best explanation is that both parental sheep are heterozygous for the trait.

How can I indemnify characteristic of all living things

Answer: All living things are comprised of cells are in the case of unicellular organisms a cell. And what determines if something is living is whether are not it can reproduce without the assistance of a host organism. Some organelles all cells contain whether prokaryotic are eukaryotic are cell membranes Genetic material (DNA and forms of RNA) a cytoplasm and ribosomes. Obviously there are many more organelles but these are some shared by all cells whether prokaryotic, eukaryotic or plant a type of eukaryote.

Crossing over often occurs during prophase. How could scientists use an easy to measure trait that is linked to the gene respons
Otrada [13]

Answer:

Crossing over is the phenomena of the exchange of the genetic material between the non sister chromatid of the homologous chromosomes. The crossing over results in the formation of recombinant progeny.

Linked traits are close to each other and present on the same chromosome. The linked traits that are very close to each other and will not separate by the process of crossing over. This information is used to locate the disease condition.

Explain what factors determine whether an oncologist treats cancer with chemotherapy, radiation or a combination of the two.
Anna71 [15]

Treatment of cancer by either chemotherapy or radiation depends on the type of cancer, the stage of cancer when the patient is diagnosed, and the patient’s overall health. This is because either option may make more sense, or may be more effective, than the other. Chemotherapy is a systemic remedy and therefore used to treat cancers that have metastasized. Radiation, on the other hand, is localized and used to treat cancer at early stages.
