The correct option is B. Liver

Further Explanation:

Alcohol is a kind of liquor/beverage which produced by a process known as fermentation. Different type of alcohol is made from different sources of sugar and yeast. Consumption of excessive alcohol has a bad effect on the body as alcohol dissolves in the blood quickly and it affects the brain.

Liver is that organ of the body which helps in the digestion process and removal of toxic substances from the blood. It helps in removal of alcohol particles from the blood stream. As the alcohol reaches the blood and passes down to the liver. The liver starts working on the process of eliminating alcohol from the body. Alcohol dehydrogenase breaks alcohol in to acetaldehyde and this acetaldehyde is further oxidized by dehydrogenase enzyme into acetic acid. This acetic acid produced is further broken down in carbon dioxide and water in the citric acid cycle.

Excessive consumption of alcohol affects the liver as it is not able to detoxify large amount of alcohol.

Thus, liver has the primary responsibility for eliminating alcohol from the blood stream.
