So 1st, divide the shape into multiple other shapes.
BTW, sorry if I take long I'm trying to draw the lines on the picture.
Then, the area of a triangle in a=bh(1/2) and for trapezoids, it's (1/2(length of base 1+ length of base 2))height, so, do that for the 2 trapeziods, and do that for the triangles. I got 42.

The distance between the two houses is 546m. I can walk 1.3 m/sec using the formula d=rt how long does it take to get to the hou
My name is Ann [436]
D=546m.  r=1.3m/sec.  546m=1.3m/sec(t).
546m divided by 1.3m/sec = t = 420 sec (the meters will cancel out, leaving the answer to just seconds).
420 seconds divided by 60sec/min = 7 minutes.

Write the coordinates of the vertices after a reflection over the x-axis. 1072
Liula [17]

The reflection about x-axis results in same x coodinate with oppositive of y coordinate. It can be expressed as,

(x,y)\rightarrow(x,-y)

Determine the coordinates of the vertices after reflection over the x-axis.

Q(6,-8)\rightarrow Q^{\prime}(6,8)R(7,-8)\rightarrow R^{\prime}(7,8)S(7,-5)\rightarrow Q^{\prime}(7,5)T(6,-5)\rightarrow T^{\prime}(6,5)

A+ 2b = 10 2a + b =6
GenaCL600 [577]
First you can solve for b: Subtract a on both sides and get 2b=-a+10, then divide by 2 to get b by itself and get: b=-1/2a+5

Then you can plug in this equation for b in the other: This would give you: 2a+-1/2a+5=6. Then you can use that equation to solve for a and get: 1.5a+5=6, subtract 5, 1.5a=1, divide by 1.5, a=1/1.5

Then you can plug in the value of a to solve for b.
