Let the number of hours = h

Multiply the rate per hour by hours and add to the rental fee.

This at most can equal the amount you have.

Equation: 6h+ 13.50 <= 37.50

Solve for h:

6h + 13.50 <= 37.50

Subtract 13.50 from both sides:

6h <= 24.00

Divide both sides by 6:

H <= 4

You can rent the canoe for 4 hours maximum.

Solve −2x2 +3x − 9 = 0
luda_lava [24]
-2x^2 + 3x - 9 = 0
The quadratic is not factorable so quadratic formula must be used.
x = (-b + - √(b^2 - 4ac))/2a
a = -2, b = 3, c = -9
x = (-3 + - √(9 - 4*-2*-9))/-4
x = (-3 + - √(-63))/-4
x = -3 + - 3i√7
     --------------
           -4
x = 3 + 3i√7            x = 3 - 3i√7

b) 55 and 43

Step-by-step explanation:

I can tell by the first 3 or so numbers that the sequence is decreasing by 6 each time, so when you go from 61- blank - 49 it has to be 55 and same with the other one.

In a shipment of new books for a library 5/12 of the books were poetry and 2/5 were biographies. The remainder of the books in t
butalik [34]
Make a common denominator.

5/12 and 2/5 both have a common denominator of 60.

So:
5/12 = 25/60
2/5 = 24/60

25/60 + 24/60 = 49/60

There are 49/60 books in the shipment that contain POETRY and BIOGRAPHIES.

But we’re not done yet!

60/60 - 49/60 = 11/60

11/60 of the books contain mysteries.

Please give brainliest if you can!

Hope this helps!! :)
