Assuming for every line you go up you increase the by 2.
So if you have 8 you skip a line and you end up at 12 the next line the line in between those 2 numbers should be 10. Leaving you with a sequence of numbers and if you keep going along 12, 14, 16, 18, you arrive at 20.
