What equation is graphed in this figure?
zzz [600]

Answer:

c. y + 2 = -3(x - 1)

Step-by-step explanation:

By using a point on the line and the slope, we can determine the equation, in point-slope form, that is graphed in the figure.

Using two points, (1, -2) and (0, 1),

slope (m) = \frac{y_2 - y_1}{x_2 - x_1} = \frac{1 -(-2)}{0 - 1} = \frac{3}{-1} = -3

m = -3

Using a point, (1, -2) and the slope (m), we can create an equation for the graph in point-slope form, by substituting x1 = 1, y1 = -2 and m = -3 in y - y_1 = m(x - x_1).

Thus, we would have:

y -(-2) = -3(x - 1)

y + 2 = -3(x - 1)

The equation that is graphed in the figure is:

✔️y + 2 = -3(x - 1)

Find a polynomial equation that has zeros at x = 0, x = -5 and x = 6
finlep [7]

Answer:

The answer to your question is x³ + 11² + 30x

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

       x = 0; x = - 5; x = 6

Process

1.- Equal the zeros to zero

      x₁ = 0; x₂ + 5 = 0; x₃ + 6 = 0

2.- Multiply the results

      x(x + 5)(x + 6) = x [ x² + 6x + 5x + 30]

3.- Simplify

                             = x [ x² + 11x + 30]

4.- Result

                             = x³ + 11² + 30x
