Thesis: Your topic + aspect + your position on that aspect
Example:
Your topic = Homeless people
Aspect = Many homeless people in America
Your position = [your point]
(Your point as in wanting to help out the homeless, or what you can people can do to help, etc.)

So with this, your thesis could be something like:
"The Numbers of Homeless people in America is rising and I think that... [insert your point here]"

Homelessness in America is the most shameful problem we try to ignore and but can not.  The congress need to do something about the problem of Homelessness. Without houses they will live a very painful and cold life.  During the summer they will be outside in the hot sun and during the winter they will be outside freezing to death while others are in their warm houses.  They might not have the money to pay for the houses.  I think the congress should give houses to  this kind of people, and also give them food supplies.
