The apex of the pyramid can be said to be the most important and prestigious role - the girl in the apex can be said to be somehow special. Both Kelly and Davine want this position, but so far neither has it - it can't be jealousy then, since it could only happen if one of the girls was already chosen.

Their conflict can be best described as a "power struggle".

Which situation best describes the concept of causation
levacccp [35]

Concept of causation: When one event happens because of another.

In history, it is rarely the case that there is a single cause of an event.  There are often multiple causes and factors and motivations that all play into the unfolding of historical happenings.  Reformation historian Roland Bainton said, "The sum of the matter is that causation is exceedingly difficult to assess.  One can do no more than offer a plausible conjecture."  Bainton believed there were causes of events in history, but that there could be much investigation and debate about the complexity of those causes.  That's part of our work as historians -- to investigate different possibilities and theses and see which are the most likely factors in causing events to unfold as they did.  And as we make our assessment of causes, we remain open to the possibility that new evidence might surface that will change our understanding of causes of what happened in the past.

Explain the quote “No taxation without representation “
Vikentia [17]
Taxation without representation is the act of being taxed by an authority without the benefit of having elected representatives. The term became part of an anti-British slogan when the original 13 American colonies aimed to revolt against the British Empire. Taxation without representation occurs when a taxing authority, such as the government, imposes taxes its citizens and other entities but fails to provide them with a political voice through elected representatives. This was one of the main causes of the American Revolution. Those living in the colonies believed that if they were to pay taxes, then they should have adequate representation — and therefore, a political voice — in the British Parliament. And it still happens in some places today.
