But they are not only known as a powerful military force, they also focus on arts,culture, medicine and education which helped the empire prosper.</span>

Assyrian power and wealth were a result of their arms power. They were the first ones using bronze to make weapons. All this meant a huge advantage agains any enemy army.

So, this power translated into wealth, because of the many lands and loots they conquered.
