How do you add pictures to microsoft word

Click the location in your document where you want to insert a picture.

On the Insert tab, click Pictures.

Select the option you want to use for inserting pictures.

I'm not sure for newer microsoft word editions, but you generally can just drag and drop a picture onto microsoft word. Drag and drop means to get the picture you need, and after clicking & holding, bringing it to your document and dropping it. Another way is to open it through the "start" button, and going down to pictures, click "add pictures", and then dropping the desired file into your document. Then you can place it to where you want it.
