American Revolutionary war was started in 1775 between British and thirteen colonies of America demanding independence for America. British troops claimed higher training and additional provisions than American forces at the beginning of the American war of independence. Great Britain hired German mercenaries as they were brutal in the battlefield.

In this war majority of Native Americans decided to support the British, because the British threatened that they would stop colonists from subsiding within the West. Later, the settlers claimed additional Native American lands during Revolutionary War; this greatly affected the relationship between settlers and Indians.
